WHO IS VICTORIA ISLAND?

     A mysterious teenage girl was discovered washed up on the beach with a severe head injury.  The doctor who saved her life called her Victoria, after the island where she was found.  She recovered much quicker than anyone thought possible but had no memory of her previous life.  

    The only clue to her identity led her to the Dark Angel in Arches National Park.  She wished upon a star and met Griffon, a hot local guide who was not what he seemed. Sinister Shadow People who lurked in the canyons threatened her life. Were they real or the result of her recent brain injury? She trusted Griffon, but was she willing to take a leap of faith to discover who is Victoria Island?

   Who Is Victoria Island?  is a contemporary young-adult fantasy that I wrote for my granddaughters, Aria and Piper. Victoria is on a journey to discover her true identity, as much as all teenagers do on their way to adulthood. (with the exception of memory loss and scary Shadow People.)  I have enjoyed creating her. She is brave, independent and a little bit badass.  You are going to cheer for her as she faces danger and betrayal to find her true self.
